Over twenty five years ago, something quite extraordinary happened in China. Rick Hansen arrived in a wheelchair, accompanied by his closest friends on an odyssey that witnessed the Man in Motion pushing himself across the world. Hansen entered Beijing with million Chinese heralding the arrival hero. But why this man, why then and why in China?

Heart of a Dragon, filmed on location in Beijing and on the Great Wall of China, is a story of a man and those he trusted who, in a test of their self endurance, discover the true meaning of love, loyalty and the strength of the human spirit—the stuff that dreams are made of.
